A Toronto street art gem, tucked away on Dovercourt Rd and Geary Ave. This piece is still around and has been conserved by a new owner but has window installed half way through it!  Here is a photo of when this Seaweed Bruxa was freshly painted in 2015! Las Americas is originally a spraypaint and acrylic painting on canvas that was first exhibited at the Graffiti Fine Art Biennal in Sao Paulo, Brazil of 2013.  This piece has become one of Shalak's more important bodies of work as it raised the bars both technically as well as conceptually within her artistic career. 

Las Americas is a portrait and personification of South, Central and North American Continents.  Through a multi-layered visual story Las Americas retells history from her perspective in a moment frozen in time right before Columbus reaches her shores in 1492. In this story, Las Americas invites the viewer to reimagine our past, present and future on these lands without the Colonial Genocides that has plagued her in the last 500 years.

The Elephant Aurora Fine Art Print is a photograph of an original Spray Painted Street Art piece by Shalak Attack she did in Recife, Brazil in 2015 when she was invited to participate in the Graffiti Festival Recifusion.    By using her spraypaint fat cap techniques and colourful palette, Shalak is able to transcend an ephemeral spirit-like quality where the elephant seems to dissipate into the atmosphere.  In this piece she is honouring the Elephant and its struggle of survival against extinction, especially because of the ivory war against them.
